About Anna

Anna is a registered yoga teacher at the e-RYT 200 through Yoga District & RYT 500 levels with Sri Dharma Mittra of New York City and is a Master Reiki Practitioner in the lines of Usui Reiki and Mahatma Reiki. She has studied meditation with Rudy & Sharon Bauer of the Center for Consciousness Studies in Washington, D. C. and anatomy with Judith Hanson Lasater. She has received many Tibetan Buddhist empowerments, among them from Lama Norlha Rinpoche of the Kagyu Thubten Choling Monastery and Lama Garchen Rinpoche of the Garchen Buddhist Institute. She took her first refuge vows from Lama Drupon Leshe of the Tibetan Meditation Center. Anna leads classes, workshops & retreats up and down the east coast of the USA and co-facilitates the Silk Road Yoga Sangha Multidisciplinary Yoga Teacher Training (SYRS/MYTT). She believes yoga is an art and an individual process of reconnecting and healing not only one’s own body, mind and spirit, but also of discovering the connectedness of everything.
